- Fall Tour
I am excited about a Fall Tour from September 12, 2026, to September 27, 2026. I’ll first be in the New England area from September 12, 2026 to September 20, 2026. I’ve already set up about 5 gigs at UU churches, progressive rallies, and folk cafes in the area. I’m looking forward to playing for new and old friends alike. Then on September 21, 2026, I’ll be heading to Hartsville, SC to continue the tour. Bhakti and I will be recording a great version of the new song Crossroads, in Columbia, SC. He and his colleagues and I are going to work on a great rendition of this song. I can’t wait to see the results of this recording by some great and dynamic musicians. I do have some open slots for gigs from September 14, 2026 to September 18, 2026. Please let me know if you would like me to perform for your progressive organization. Thanks for everyone’s support up in New England and in SC.
- Recording Songs in Las Cruces
Over the past several months I have been honored to work with some great musicians, recording versions of some original songs. Thank you to the Urly Birds band for a great jam and a great rendition of Mal Hyman/Randy Cahall original, Crossroads. “There’s darkness in the halls of power. Despair and anger across the land. Let’s make this country great for everyone. With courage, hope and a helping hand.” A special thank you to Carol Brooks, who helped get the project well organized and running smoothly and swiftly. Her wonderful voice lent great warmth to this song.
I have also enjoyed working with Mark Waltermire and Buddy Akin as they laid down some terrific mandolin riffs and guitar riffs for two originals, again Crossroads, and The Ukraine Song, or Christmas Night in Ukraine.
Both of these songs reflect concerns about the destruction of democracy and freedom here at home and in Ukraine, as they battle a Russian invasion.
We will soon be posting these two songs on this platform and on some social media platforms to encourage folks to vote and participate in the midterms. Such actions can make a real difference for the preservation of our US democracy.
Finally, but not last, Steve Klinger and I did a heartfelt and honest recording of Steve’s original Hallowed Ground. “We won’t back down. Yield Hallowed Ground. Yield Hallowed Ground.” This is a great song that I plan on singing while touring this fall 2026 and in spring 2027. We plan on re-recording this great song later this fall and will then publish on the website.
Thank you to Joel Parker for his great recording work. He can sure make us all sound so good.
- Indivisible Rallies

I have the honor of playing at several rallies, with fellow musicians in Las Cruces and in Tucson AZ. I’m looking forward to supporting these efforts in the future and expanding out to play for other Indivisible chapters. If anyone is interested, please contact me.
- Our New LP

Bhakti Larry Hough and I just put our an LP, titled Freedom: The Griot and the Troubadour. Take a listen to it!
- Tucson is Great

I have been in Tucson as of late, visiting friends. And, I have had a chance to play at two Indivisible Rallies.
The folks there are energized and dedicated to changing the world for better. I think they enjoyed my playing some of the old and new protest music. And, they were singing along. I’m working on getting you all a couple pictures and maybe a video of the event.
Stay tuned for updates.
